V1 Stand up, Lock in, And engage your brain, Tenacity, audacity, Live no one day the same. Fight for your rights And become what you feel, Commit, don’t submit To the turning of The Wheel CH No rulebook and no guidelines, No aforementions of how it is ‘fine’ It’s gonna be hard so ya got to get tough, You’ve only one shot so Harden the fuck up! V2 Time waits for no cunt! Delay, then, restrained, You’re invincible (on principle), A fool should you remain. Through discipline comes confidence And constant resistance, Consistent persistence Persistent persistence! Observe! Conserve! Maintain!

Aunt Irma 03:16
V1 Please stop talking so loud, My back is breaking I can’t handle the sound, You’re interrupting, tell me where I should go now, But I need silence all this week. V2 Please don’t make me repeat, My blood is boiling And I’ve no energy, Yet there’s a rage that’s exploding inside of me, Just give me silence all this week. CH 1 She’s punishing! And I’ve got no bun in my oven Yet you cause me so much pain! Don’t speak her name! The Communists have come together And waged war inside my brain, A text would be nice, An email’d suffice, Instead we all pay the price. V3 Why can’t I be As happy as an advertisement family? They’re eating salads so damn happily, Instead I go to bed and weep. V4 Raw blood exposed to the bone, I really think that I should be alone Before I bite your head off down to the bone, Just give me silence all this week! CH2 And I’ve got no bun in my oven Yet you cause me so much pain, Don’t speak her name! The Communists have come together And waged war inside my brain, A text would be nice, An email’d suffice, Instead we all pay the price! You’ve got to pull yourself together And don’t let Aunt Irma win, She can get in the bin! A fragile flower, I wanna punch ya But I won’t, But I feel I might. I wanna go cry Through j-Lo movies tonight With Bailey by my side With Dave Berry by my side, With Housty by my side.

V1 You ain’t never heard a song like this before, You aint never heard of punk rock and I know it’s not your fault, You’re restrained, refrained, content Just in your own secluded world, At least that’s what they’ve told you And you always will concur. PC 1 And deep down inside You want to escape, You can’t run or hide, Because your country is your fate, You are never gonna hear this, I’m not sure of the point, I gotta get this off my chest Like you gotta get out of that joint. CH1 Oh North Korea, How I want to save ya! There’s just so much Of the world you don’t know, Oh North Korea, How I wanna show ya! That the rest is bloody great, And the Kims made a mistake, I wish that you could see, How great it is to be free. V2 I know we’ve never met, And probably never would, But if we did we’d rollerblade Far away from Kim-Jong-Un, I think you’re pretty quirky, And that Arirang is cool, But not as cool as living and loving And dying under your own rule. V3 And I want to take you far away From that place, But I know you dare not contemplate It’s too late. PC2 And deep down inside You want to escape, You can’t run or hide, Your country is your fate, You ain’t never gonna see hear this, I’m sure the words are void, But if there is a chance, Come take my hand, Freedom won’t disappoint. BR I want to take you somewhere that You can go and grab a feed, Won’t you tell me what you need? We will be free politically, We can talk forever About whatever. OUTRO Oh North Korea, I wanted to save ya, There’s just so much So much I don’t know, Oh North Korea, oh North Korea, I’m not your saviour, I must let you go.
4.
Weeds 02:57
V1 You’ve the right to be here same as I, So who am I to decide when you die? My place has been claimed Atop the food chain Before I could speak and protest my needs. V2 Deplete the canopy Providing life, We’re resource raping, Rampant parasites, Epiphytes we’re not, Consume ‘til we all rot, Drain the blood ‘Til there’s nothing left to bleed! CH 1 We live far beyond our needs, Prolifically spreading seeds We’re just weeds We’re all weeds! V3 Subservient servants to the blue collar, If It’s a useless, fruitless fight Then why bother? If we admit defeat & bow, And submit to the crown We condemn ourselves to a world of hate and greed!
5.
Dinosaurs 02:01
V1 Don’t tell me where to sit At the dinner table, Don’t ever fucken tell me That I’m not able To play my tunes For no income, Instead work for superannuation, Don’t tell me to take my piercings out, Or berate me, debate me And have your doubts, ‘Coz I’m not straight And I got no kids, I don’t believe in God, “Oh God forbid!” CH And maybe They’ve got our best interests at heart, And maybe Acceptance would be a good start, Entitled With traditionalist views That will hopefully be phased out In a generation or two! V2 Don’t tell me That it was better back in your day Don’t tell me that “It’s a sin to be gay!” Y’all got no zen or appreciation, Sometimes I wish we weren’t related! Just ‘coz you’re older Don’t mean you’re wiser, It’s the quality not quantity That qualifies ya, If you tell me you’re not racist But you “hate Asians” You can FUCK RIGHT OFF To the dinosaur ages!
6.

V1 How do you feel now you know? Did you predict it? It catch you by surprise? Did you call it And it materialised? Came out of left field, Are you enlightened or frightened? Conspiracy and mystery shall go. CH But don’t tell a soul! You woke up today Knowing that all the answers are yours for The taking, Make no mistaking - You have realised, You know the truth behind Just why The lies Remain so classified! V2 Bermuda - A secret passage to Area 51, And landing on the moon Had already been done By a dinosaur spaceship! You know so much your brain just might explode! CH2 But don’t tell a soul! You woke up today Knowing that Francis was the one that shot Cobain, And the earth is not flat but shaped like a dick! And the Antichrist’s the vaccinated kid Of Nancy and Sid, And ‘Stairway’ backwards Is a recipe for KFC! BR You’ve never known the what, where, why or how, But you’ve seen it now! Will you use it for good and make a Change? What will you say?! What will you say?! V3 JFK He shot first, Greta Thunberg did create the virus And the Führer didn’t die But runs the USA, And Princess Di was sacrificed To lions, Rocks! Are soft til you touch, God is not dead He just don’t give a fuck, We’re a simulation Inside a simulation, And if titanic sunk, Where is the ice? Open up your illuminateyes - The meaning of life is 55.

The Captain 04:18
V1 Now is all I have Although I long for so much more, The stars they all will die But not in my lifetime, I breathe I need I want to see That I am solely in control, But if we return to dust, What fate has my soul? CH1 Time’s an invention of the hand You can do it if you can, At the end of the day You’ll find a way To never cop it from the man, The bastards are in the past, Don’t lust Or wish your time away, Embrace This place, The good - It shouldn’t Go unnoticed ‘coz All you have is today. V2 I’m the luckiest person that I know Even sometimes I forget, Or feel my heart it could stop, And feel the panic set in, But I’m present, I ‘get it’, Live with no regretting, I’m the water, I’m the breeze, Sometime when there is drought, Only time brings relief. CH2 Time’s an invention of the hand, You can do it if you can, Idolise yourself, Live for no one else, Expression is life well spent, There’s no ‘event’ Just the present, Surround yourself with good, Just pause, You’ve more To give Just live And take each day the way you feel you should. BR I’m torn, I feel so small, Precarious presence, Unsure, Hanging by a thread That’s feeling taught, We’re not alone, We are home, We’re on the same ship On a one way trip, But the Captain is I, And I’m taking it slow.

SWYL 03:30
I woke up this morning And I’m feeling like I gotta hella bad head But I know I’m right, Coz I’m gonna play The inner west With 4 of the best, Feel my heart beat right out of my chest, Now we’re rockin the suburbs With our hands and our words, We play just like our lives depend To a family we call our friends, And we’re sick, We’re broke From not being taken seriously, Our contribution is our revolution, We won’t play for you for free. We play only to the sound guy Like we play to ten thousand and thirty-five, 10 bucks a beer, 5 grand worth of gear, “Sorry your sound just isn’t right for here, We wont advertise your show, It’s up to you all to promote!”, Maybe we’re fighting for a dying cause, Maybe punk rock just isn’t what it was. It matters not your skill, your heart, If you’ve got the right connections you’ve got the part, Wouldn’t it be grand If our job was to take a stand? On a stage We would say what mattered, This is sadly not the case, We work like chumps in office space, Denying our souls Our freedom of expression, Instead we work for fat cats And big corporations, We’re corporate shills Living in a capitalist shell! We make our scene So stand tall and scream - ‘It depends on us, Time to get tough, Support What You Love, It’ll be enough. Just go to a show Sing the words you know , Just don’t let the bastards get you down, We’re the ones who pick you up When you fall down in the crowd. Feel what you say And make sure you say it loud! SUPPORT WHAT YOU LOVE.

about

A collection of hard hitting, emotional, funny, powerful folk-punk ditties that explore the themes of environmental and societal collapse, resilience and self-determination, as well as intergenerational disconnection vs. your connection to your local music scene and how, at the end of the day, we all should support what we love.

These 10 songs were written between 2018-2021. The first five tracks were recorded at Def Wolf Studios live as a full band, over one weekend, in the pre-COVID Spring of September 2019, the last five tracks were recorded in the same fashion during mid-lockdown in the Spring of October 2020.
